Originally from coastal Alabama, artist and educator Patricia Davis and has an active studio practice in Lincoln, Nebraska. She received her MFA in studio art from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and BFA in studio art with an emphasis in printmaking and sculpture from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Davis has exhibited work nationally and internationally, been a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, a Windgate Fellow, and was an artist in residence at Cedar Point Biological Station in Ogallala, NE. In August 2018, Davis is returning to the School of Art, Art history & Design at UNL in to continue teaching as a lecturer and director of the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery.
